I’m having an off day and can’t focus on any one thing. So, enjoy this compilation of not-so-focused ramblings.
- The Ga Department of Driver’s Services says they mailed my license out to Wa today. I am being cautiously pessimistic.
- Baby boy clothes are all way cuter this season than girl clothes. Seriously.
- I want to eat all of the things. And by all of the things, I mean fettuccine alfredo.
- My carpets will never be clean enough.
- I am freaked out that congress will be too focused on Syria to come up with a budget. It’s bad enough to be stuck here until April, but indefinitely?? Also, I am still holding onto the last vestiges of hope that another opportunity will open up in October, but a budget is required for that to even be a possibility.
- I need a Dyson Hard. Like whoa.
- Baby girl and I have approximately 49 days left (7 weeks). This both seems like an eternity and a blink of an eye.
- Washington is trying to kill me.
- S is trying to plan for the next 6-10 years of his Army future. It’s kind of exhausting and exciting, and depressing all at the same time. I’ll expand on that later.
- My house is probably cleaner than it has ever been, but it still isn’t clean enough. Problem is, there is really not a whole lot else I can do, so it’s just kind of driving me slowly crazy. On a similar note, it would be nice if I could just pick some things the movers can lose and/or break when we PCS in April, just so I don’t have to deal with them. But only those things.
- I started packing my hospital bag last night. I still need to go buy a box of industrial-sized pads.
- I have no more maternity capri pants. Okay, that’s a lie. I have one pair. But all of the rest? Dead. That’s why I have had to move on to the maternity skirt:
