That’s when we should know about the next step (or standstill) in our Army future. S hopes that phrase means we should know by the end of April/beginning of May.
I figure we should know something by September at the rate things are going.
What would really be nice is if they could hurry up and make a decision, I don’t know… On Monday! Why? Well, all of the usual reasons definitely apply–I want to be back on the east coast, I hate Washington, I’m really looking forward to a change of scenery. Pick one. But mostly:
My house is a disaster. It looks like a tornado–or a toddler–sprinted through it. I just cleaned this afternoon, and I can’t even tell, anymore. And we really haven’t spent a lot of time at home, today.
A move would be wonderful–the sooner they can come pack everything up, the sooner I don’t have to deal with it, anymore. And, once we get to the next place, I can reorganize and purge.
(You know… unless S ends up overseas somewhere and my stuff ends up in storage, anyway.)
It’s one of the good things about moving often–a reason to hit redo.
